07/11/2017 - Funding Creative Content Event

Tuesday 7th November 2017

A large part of the UK’s creative industries are made up of sole traders or micro-companies, many of whom struggle to secure the finance required to continue to grow.  BCre8ive and Digital Catapult have invited speakers to suggest ways in which these companise - over 90% of Creative Industries - can be funded.

To help ensure such successes continue, the Creative Investment Forum has been established to bring together funders, investors and representatives from the UK’s creative sector to identify ways in which funding can be made available.

Who should attend?

Funders, investors and representatives from the UK’s creative sector

The Creative Investment Forum will:

  • Bring together stakeholders around the subject of funding creative content.
  • Set out the financial benefits of the UK’s creative industries.
  • Begin to identify ways in which finance could be made available to sole traders or micro-companies that make up over 90% of the UK’s creative industries.
  • Encourage more diverse approaches to funding creative content.

Speakers include BCre8ive, Creative England, Digital Catapult, Station 12, AHRC,  Capital Enterprise, and Goldfinch Entertainment on their plans and suggested ways in which they plan to support the UK’s creative industries.
